Lovely. This would make a nice pillow cover.

But it doesn’t streth, so be very careful when using with socks!

your swatch is really nice — I looked up the pattern in my copy of bw and in her swatch the “quilt lines” don’t look quite as straight as yours. Maybe the tencel in your yarn makes those stretched stitches lay straighter…

This pattern is also quite lovely with a contrasted color for the lattice (I think that is how it is shown in the book).

I have adapted this pattern so that it can be knit in the round (I’m making a hat), and it works quite beautifully. Has anyone tried this before? Any tips on how one might decrease so the general integrity of the pattern is kept?

I discovered the pattern doesn’t stretch a bit too late — had to frog a half finished hat! :-(

I’m planning on making myself a scarf knit in the round in this pattern, how did you get it continuously in the round? I was trying to figure out a way to skip the knit stitches at the beginning and end so that there would not be a space between, but my brain won’t let me! Tips?

      Thanks!

      Jolen
