Comments: It is interesting to see how this lacy border pattern looks in a heavier yarn than what was published in the Second Treasury. It would indeed look very nice as a border or as an overall pattern in a garment as Walker suggests.

Yarn: Unknown, by Kenneth Cytron Yarns, on cone, (60% wool, 25% Polyester, 15% Acrylic)
Wraps Per Inch: 30 wpi
Needles: 3.25mm (US 3)
Gauge: 27 sts to 4″/10cm in pattern, before dropping stitches
Pattern: Cobweb Frill
Stitch Count Repeat: Multiple of 3sts

Comments: One-third of the stitches are dropped before knitting the ribbing, so there are fewer stitches on the bind off end. This edging flares out as a result, as well.
