Comments, if any: It’s helpful to read the introduction to this chapter to try out Walker’s alternate way of making the right and left twist.  I think perhaps the left twist was indeed slightly tighter and neater.  This block was a lot of fun to do and was very easy.

    This is a beautifully knit swatch, and the perfect color for a stitch that reminds me of ears of wheat!

    That’s just what I thought–ears of wheat. I liked this swatch even more after knitting it than I had when I started–it was really fun to do. I think it is colorway 2437, one of the heathers.
