      Thank you. I’ve made a few hats with this stitch pattern and they were all very pretty, too. The pattern is very sudle.

    This is so helpful — the image in my copy of the printed book (when I look at it now) as if it wasn’t blocked in the same way as your swatch. I probably wouldn’t be inclined to try the pattern as illustrated in Walker’s book, but seeing it now makes it look like a wonderful idea to use in an otherwise simple pullover.
