Yarn: Garnstudio Silke Tweed

Needles: 4.5 mm

Gauge: fingering weight (7-8sts per inch)
Pattern: Rick Rib
Stitch Count Repeat: even number of sts
Book: A Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns

Note: Easy to work, turns any yarn into a one skein wonder, depending on the width you’re looking for, of course.

Edge as written (a single stockingette row) is tidy and neat, as you can see.

Great picture…but….am I missing something? I did not see where the directions for knitting this pattern are.

In order to respect the copyright of the author, we are only posting modern photos of her wonderful collection of patterns. If you want to see the pattern, its on page 260 of The Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns by Walker.

Hmm, I like that, where can I find that book? Is that yarn wool based?
