It looks like the swatch photo was posted upside down. Those aren’t decrease stitches, they’re left twist and right twist stitches. I’m doing a cardigan in this stitch pattern, and it’s great fun to work.
I knitted a swatch of the double lattice last night, and it seems a little too “gapey” to me. Maybe a smaller needle size would help or perhaps using a “stretchier” wool so it pulls together a bit more? I think this stitch pattern benefits from being knit tightly. Is this the case? Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks!
